Get your Hawaiian swing on and come down to New Brighton on Saturday, 28th Feb to celebrate this:   We have Surf Boards, Stand Up Paddleboards & wetsuits for rent. There will be a surf demo of different styles and surfing through the years, that starts at 10am and goes through to the unveiling at 2pm. At 3pm there is the mass paddle out with any water toy you want to be on... And last but not least a little bit of history about surfing in NZ and the Duke - click here  The Duke demonstrating in New Brighton here

Introducing 7 year old Chloe Keer-Keer, who recently got into kitesurfing under the watchful eye of her dad James here in Christchurch, at our local flat water spot The Estuary. With aspirations of some day competing in the PKRA (Professional Kite Riders Association), you just have to talk to Chloe to see she's super stoked on our sport! Chloe has been taken under the wing of Axis Kiteboards who are looking to develop their range of gear for kids! Flying Ozone Kites from Kitesports, we wish Chloe the best for her future endeavours!
